The Hon. Jihad Dib, Minister for Digital Government, NSW Parliament

Jihad Dib is the Minister for Customer Service and Digital Government, Minister for Emergency Services, Minister for Youth Justice and the Local Member for Bankstown. Jihad is a former board member of the Australia Day Council of NSW, the NSW Police Commissioner’s Advisory Panel, and the SBS Community Advisory Committee. Jihad has campaigned tirelessly for inclusiveness and the celebration of diversity in our society, believing in the notion that “if you can see it, you can be it”. Prior to being elected to the NSW Parliament in 2015, Jihad was Principal of Punchbowl Boys’ High. Over a period of 9 years, he transformed the school by developing strong relationships with the community, local organisations and government agencies.

Dayle Stevens, Executive Data & AI, Telstra

Dayle is a Technology Executive with 30 years’ experience in the technology industry. Previous roles include Chief Data Officer at AGL Energy, Divisional CIO at National Australia Bank, and as an IT consultant working all over the world to help businesses transform through adoption of new technologies. Dayle is the Board Chair of Robogals Global, an international not-for-profit volunteer organisation aiming to engage young women in STEM education and careers.

An accomplished TED speaker, Dom is proud to work at Atlassian, the home of the most intelligent t-shirt wearers in business. As our resident Work Futurist. Dom is Atlassian’s in house “Team Doctor” helping Atlassian scale by being ruthlessly efficient and effective, and spends over half his time helping our customers navigate transformation, agility, leadership, and the future of work. Dom helped pioneer our Team Playbook and has a deep passion for understanding of teamwork and the changes we need to make today to build thriving businesses. He has previously been the GM Program Management for a global gaming company and a Director of Deloitte.

Tuan Jean (TJ) Tee, Chief Digital and Information Officer, Sime Darby Motors | CIO50

Tuan Jean Tee, a seasoned technologist with over 30 years of experience, has worked with diverse clients across various sectors. His career includes roles like the Chief Digital Advisor at tech giants like Microsoft and consulting firms. Tuan Jean is passionate about leveraging technology to solve business challenges and create new value. He oversees digital transformation and technology initiatives that include cloud transformation, advanced data analytics, AI, and omnichannel customer experience. He received Australia CIO50 in 2023. 

Paul Gladigau, Chief Technology Officer, Aus/NZ, Equifax

Paul Gladigau is a senior technology executive with more than 33 years’ experience delivering value-based services. Recently appointed as Chief Technology Officer at Equifax, a consumer credit reporting agency, Paul is responsible for the region’s technology strategy and execution in line with regional and global strategies. He leads a team of technology employees, contractors and partners, who will deliver Equifax’s Transformation roadmap and drive operational excellence. Paul works at the forefront of technologies and techniques including agile, cloud, cyber defence, artificial intelligence and machine learning. Prior to joining Equifax, Paul was General Manager of Technology Service Management at CBA and he has previously held executive technology roles at JPMorgan, BlackRock, Barclays and IBM. Paul holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Comp Science) from UTS and an Executive MBA from AGSM. 

Sonya Crosby, Chief Data & Analytics Officer, QBE Insurance

Sonya is responsible for leading the end-to-end data and analytics vision and strategy at QBE. This includes collaborating across the broader international business to build capability and apply data smarts to enable transformation in line with business priorities. With over 20 years of experience across a broad range of industries including financial services, telecommunications, agriculture, and logistics, Crosby has a great breadth of international experience in leading data and digital teams to generate value. With a strong growth mindset and people as her North Star, Crosby is passionate about building capability with a shared purpose. 

She was previously Chief Data Officer for Westpac New Zealand, General Manager at Bank of New Zealand and Chief Innovation Officer at SkyCity. Crosby is recognised in the Global Data Power Women of 2023 and is a previous winner of the Global Chief Data Officer Award for Governance. 

 

Kate Carruthers, Chief Data & Insights Officer, UNSW Sydney

Kate Carruthers is working at the intersection of data, AI, privacy, data protection, cyber and information security. She is Chief Data & Insights Officer for UNSW Sydney and is the Head of Business Intelligence for the UNSW AI Institute. Kate has extensive experience in senior roles in ICT across the finance sector, in the public sector, in retail and wholesale distribution, and in marketing, with expertise in data and digital. She has completed postgraduate studies in business; terrorism and security; and tertiary education. Kate also co-founded several technology startups and currently advises a number of startups.

 

 

Tanya Graham, Group Executive, Digital & Transformation, icare

Before joining icare, Tanya was Executive General Manager, Strategic Programs for Healthscope, Australia’s second largest private hospital operator.

During her time with Healthscope, Tanya created and executed a new technology strategy and led a significant Transformation program that simplified their technology, created new ways of working and delivery, and drove complex organisational change.

Prior to this, Tanya was Chief Transformation Officer at Alinta Energy, and Chief Digital & Data Officer at Austrade.
